The Foleo is smaller than an average laptop and works in conjunction with the company's Treo smartphone or smartphones from other manufacturers. It has an advantage over smaller handheld devices with it's larger keyboard and display area (ten inch screen).

The Foleo mini laptop weighs just 2.5 pounds and has a five hour battery. Browsing/web search is possible via Wi-fi or Bluetooth with one button access to full screen email and it can be used for external displays, projectors and Powerpoint presentations. It comes with the Opera web browser, a PDF viewer, an email application and the facility to edit Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents.

The cost is $600 but with an introductory rebate of $100 so it's likely to cost around £300 when it arrives in the Uk in the Autumn.
