Dell Inspiron Incorporates Blu-ray

Dell has moved into the High Definition market with its Inspiron 1525 Laptop which has an option to include a Blue-ray drive HD player.

The 1525 with Blue-ray costs £729 and incorporates a 720p resolution 15.4 inch screen and an HDMI port enabling connection to a High Definition TV. Its integrated drive is compatible with DVDs and can back up onto standard CDs/DVDs.

An optional Blue-ray burner drive is also available. A Blue-ray disc can hold as much as 50gb - significantly more than typical DVD disc capacity of 8.5gb.

The laptop weighs 6.6lbs and, like most Dell laptops, is available in a number of colours.
