Laptop Security : Cubebyte Laptop Lock
Laptop theft is never out of the news these days whether because of the number of Laptop thefts or the often spectacular loss of personal information involved when goverment/public sector Laptops are lost or stolen.

A new product in the fight against theft comes from Laptop lock maker Autosafe International in the form of their new "Cubebyte" lock which they claim is the only lock in the world to fit any Laptop because of its ability to adjust to the various different depths of Laptop security slots.

The lock has a 9 disk tumbler system with 20,000 differs and and a 1.8 metre 5.5mm twisted steel cable which revolves in the lock to give flexibility in positioning of the Laptop. Two keys are supplied with the lock and keys can be replaced subject to provision of the keycode and proof of purchase.

The lock retails at around £22 and comes with a lifetime guarantee.
